Terms & Conditions

By tendering material for shipment in Quick Delivery Courier document courier service or part & parcel transit service, the shipper agrees to the terms and conditions stated herein and to Quick Delivery Courier standard conditions of carriage incorporated into the contract by reference, which is available from or for inspection at Quick Delivery Courier office. No agent or employee of Quick Delivery Courier or the shipper may alter or modify these terms & conditions:

1. The Quick Delivery Courier consignment Note

The Quick Delivery Courier consignment Note is Non-Negotiable, and the shipper acknowledges that it has been prepared by the shipper or by Quick Delivery Courier on behalf of the shipper. The shipper warrants that it is the owner of the goods transported hereunder, or it is the authorized agent of the owner of the goods and that it hereby accepts Quick Delivery Courier terms & conditions for itself and as agent for and on behalf of any other person having any interest in the shipment.

2. Shipper’s Obligations and Acknowledgments

The shipper warrants that each article in the shipment is properly described on the Quick Delivery Courier Consignment Note and that shipment details are complete and accurate. Quick Delivery Courier has not declared the shipment unacceptable for transportation, and the shipment is properly marked and addressed, and packed to ensure safe transportation with ordinary care in handling.

3. Right of Inspection of Shipment

Quick Delivery Courier has the right, but not the obligation, to inspect any shipment, including, without limitation, opening the shipment. The shipper agrees that Quick Delivery Courier may open and inspect a shipment for any reason.

4. Lien of Goods of Shipment

Quick Delivery Courier shall have a lien on any goods shipped for all freight charges Octroi, duties, advances, or any other charges arising from the transportation hereunder for may refuse to surrender possession of the goods until such charges are paid.

5. Limitation of Liability

The liability of Quick Delivery Courier for any loss or damage to the shipment (which terms shall include all documents or parcels consigned to Quick Delivery Courier under the Quick Delivery Courier Consignment Note) is limited to the lesser of:

  • a. Rs.100/- (rupees One hundred only in case of all shipments with origin and destination within Pakistan)
  • b. The amount of loss or damage to a document or parcel sustained, or
  • c. The actual value of the document or parcel as determined under section 6 hereof, without regard to its commercial utility or special value to the shipper.

6. Actual Value

  • a. The actual value of a document (which terms shall include any item of no commercial value which is transported hereunder) shall be ascertained by reference to its cost of preparation or replacement, reconstruction, or reconstitution value at the time and place of shipment, whichever is less.
  • b. The actual value of the parcel (which terms shall include any item of commercial value which is transported hereunder) shall be ascertained by reference to its cost of preparation or replacement, release, or fair market value at the time and place of shipment, whichever is less. In no event shall such value exceed the original cost the article paid by the shipper plus 10%.

7. Consequential Damages Excluded

Quick Delivery Courier shall not be liable for any consequential or special damages or other indirect loss, however arising, whether or not Quick Delivery Courier knew that such damages might be incurred, including but not limited to loss of income, profits, interest, use of contents or loss of market.

8. Liabilities Not Assumed

While Quick Delivery Courier will endeavor to exercise its best efforts to provide expeditious delivery under the regular delivery schedule, Quick Delivery Courier will not, under any circumstances, be liable for delay in pickup, transportation, or delivery of any shipment regardless of the cause of such delay. Further, Quick Delivery Courier shall not be liable if a shipment is lost/damaged, misdelivered, or not delivered because of circumstances beyond our control. These include:

  • a. “Act of God” for example earthquake, cyclone, storm, flood.
  • b. “Force Majeure” for example war, plane crash, or embargo.
